This week at Actor’s Inc we tackled Improv with Kal!

Now, improv may seem scary at first, but the whole idea is to try new things and improvising from your mistakes!

We started off with our favorite warm up games to warm our mind, body and awareness. Then we practiced our 3 line scenes with some advice from Kal on the “dos” and “don’ts”.  For example, never ask questions and always add on to your scene partner with the idea of “yes and…”  We then learned a new concept of “walk ons” and how a “walk on” person can contribute and add information to an ongoing scene! It doesn’t end there! We also worked on a tag in scene and different ideas and concepts for this as well.
