announcements: the latest and the greatest

On the heels of our FBI Most Wanted gig, my agent received an email from Jonathan Strauss Casting inviting me to play a reporter in a L&O:SVU episode currently in pre-production. I squealed when I read the email. And the stranger next to me definitely heard and looked lol.

I started using the Tridot App to train for the Ironman that I signed up for this year (because I wanted to cross "Ironman" off of my bucket list and am now low-key freaking out about my decision.) They announced an ambassador opportunity and I'm proud to be a part!

About moi'

Acting was a gradual evolution of an Asian girl embracing her truth in contrast to cultural norms. A journalism degree led to a writing job led to a broadcast job led to hosting for local cable stations. Once agents were invited in, acting and modeling were introduced into the equation and viola, thus ensued a decade-long journey of hosting, modeling, standup, producing, editing, voiceover, and acting.

I am proud to be a SAG actress represented by personable agents in reputable agencies. I look forward to honing my craft and lending my talent to many more projects!

Working in a gym as a membership consultant is where it all began. As a byproduct, I began working out regularly and tracking food. Then an obsession with a particular coach's spin class inspired pursing my spin certification. A decade later, I have taught group fitness classes in NYC for many gyms, with certifications in cycling and bootcamp formats and have acquired my NASM certification.

Fitness is  my lifestyle. Moving and eating mindfully is how I live. I look forward to acquiring a nutrition certification, more format certifications and continuing to grow and contribute as a fitness professional!

I'm a creative, a creator, a launcher, and a leader. This means that my decade as an entertainment/ fitness professional has also been littered with passion projects:  running an acting workshop (Actors InC) for 7 years, creating a prayer app (Prayer Partner), putting together an ebook (the Actors Side Hustle Handbook), hosting events for Christian singles in NYC (the Edge), selling brownies made from black beans (Healthy Nommers) and countless other ideas that launched or didn't or have yet to. I love taking an idea from concept to reality - I believe creating is innate and part of our purpose!

"The master in the art of living

makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both."                   -Lawrence Pearsall Jacks
